Learn about the history of Sycamore Cottage, dating back to 1765, and the significant roles women have played through the years in Dorchester County, Maryland through vintage fashions, treasured items, with facts and stories of the past. Refreshments will be served!

 Cambridge Woman's Club  

Members gather at a local restaurant 3 - 4 times per year to enjoy socializing over some of the areas most notable cuisine!  

Restaurants selected this past year included Mama Maria's Mediterranean Bistro in Trappe, MD, the Cambridge Yacht Club and winetasting at Vintage 414 Previous years have included Thaitalian Infusion Cuisine and the Cambridge Diner.

Friends and family are welcome to join!

Members are invited to join day trips to museums and other notable attractions. We're grateful to Jerry Hayes at Elusive Tours for his safe and knowledgeable driving as well as kind and courteous service!

Trips have included the National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Museum of African American History and Culture. We also visited Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library in Wilmington, DE to tour their Christmas Holiday exhibit.

Members are invited to man a table at the Dorchester Center for the Arts annual Showcase event in September each year to help our community learn more about us!

Club members are invited to participate in the  annual Cambridge Christmas Parade.

Teams of members have donated winter meals to  community members in need in coordination with the Dorchester Temporary Shelter organized by the Salvation Army.

Each fall members volunteer in varying roles across 4 days to support Ironman Maryland and Ironman 70.3 Eagleman in late spring.
